Following the presentation on escape games and escape rooms in cultural institutions, Ariane Aujoulat and Aline Damoiseau present the Cluny Museum’s Gamethread concept.

Do you know the books in which you are the hero? For European Museum Night 2018, the Cluny museum, national museum of the Middle Ages, partnered with Ariane Aujoulat, creator of the Gamethread concept, to showcase its collections in a different way. This game, organised on Twitter, offers everyone the opportunity to create a route for their visit: to explore places, meet cute animals, embark on a chivalrous quest… Everything is possible, but beware of traps! Organised during a temporary closure, this operation, acclaimed by both users and the press, helped to give visibility to the collections and boost the museum’s digital presence.
