Located near the Louvre-Lens Museum, in a former school transformed into a creative playground spanning over 3000 m², Louvre-Lens Vallée (LLV) supports the region’s transition through entrepreneurship, culture, and innovation. Our mission is clear: to foster the development of young companies innovating in the cultural sector.

A network of 200 businesses, partners, local stakeholders, and a multidisciplinary team has created an ecosystem that contributes to LLV’s ambition: to support the transformation of cultural and creative industries, with a focus on the region’s economic development.

The arrival of the Louvre in Lens, the site’s inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List (both in 2012), and the opening of the Louvre Conservation Center (2018) mark three major milestones in the redevelopment policy of the Pas-de-Calais mining basin. These initiatives have notably helped restore a sense of pride, improve the region’s self-image, highlight its heritage, broaden access to culture, revive its urban and landscape transformation, and ultimately create a new tourist destination.

As a creative space where imagination comes to life, our aim is to foster the creation of economic, social, environmental, and cultural value for the Hauts-de-France region. Louvre-Lens Vallée strives to be a true hub for living and experimentation, breaking down barriers between artistic, academic, entrepreneurial, and civic spheres. Deeply committed to the social impact of its actions, Louvre-Lens Vallée contributes to shaping desirable futures, with a strong emphasis on sharing knowledge and building together.
