RESEAU DES GRANDS SITES DE FRANCE

The “Réseau des Grands Sites de France” is the national association that brings together sites that have been awarded the Grand Site de France label by the Minister responsible for the Environment, as well as those working towards obtaining this recognition. The common characteristic of these sites is that they are emblematic landscapes in France, experiencing high levels of tourist traffic and classified under the 1930 law. They are committed to a partnership policy with the State aimed at striking a balance between long-term preservation of all aspects of the site (natural and cultural, tangible and intangible), welcoming a wide range of visitors, and fostering local socio-economic development. These sites serve as laboratories for sustainable and innovative management of territories.
