How can we rethink the reception policy at the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle? Diagnosis, formalisation and actions taken.
Thursday 04 April 2024 | 14:30

In 2022, the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle is embarking on a project to harmonise the way it welcomes visitors to its various sites, from pre-visit to post-visit.
L'Oeil du Public is proposing an innovative four-pronged approach: using data gathered by the Muséum on the public's experience of reception, conducting in-depth interviews with Muséum staff, analysing key moments in the digital reception process, and carrying out a benchmark including French and international institutions.
We will be sharing the results of this study, which have enabled us to carry out a diagnosis of reception at the Museum, as well as formalising possible avenues of development for this reception so that it contributes as much as possible to enhancing the visitor experience on each of the sites, by relaying the institution's own values and missions. We will then present the actions initiated by the Museum following the approach.
Speakers:
- Marie Ganas, Head of Marketing and Quality at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle,
- Adrian Mohr, Director and founder of L'Oeil du Public,
- Ariane Lacas, Director of qualitative research at L'Oeil du Public.
