Rebuilding the Saint-Denis Spire: A Collective Journey Between Technological Innovation and Heritage Enhancement

Workshop presented by Art Graphique & Patrimoine with the association Suivez la flèche More than 170 years after its dismantling, the Saint-Denis spire—home to European Gothic architecture—is finally set to be rebuilt. The project promises to be spectacular! It aims to transform the city into a must-visit tourist destination as part of a broader effort to revitalize the area. This extraordinary, accessible construction site will allow visitors to discover both the building methods of cathedral builders and contemporary restoration practices for historical monuments. The extensive heritage program includes an unprecedented digital tour, where technological innovation will play a key role: engaging local residents, showcasing the site live, allowing visitors to experience traditional crafts, and immersing them in the history of the basilica. Come and explore the ambitious project to reconstruct the Saint-Denis spire! Speakers:
