Sensitive Immersion to Reinvent Cultural Spaces with Palais des Beaux arts Lille & the Trem.a museum and the Camille Claudel museum
Wednesday 03 April 2024 | 11:30

The mission of Mindful Art® is to help cultural venues become spaces for rejuvenation and well-being, open and accessible to all audiences, while rethinking the museum experience as a journey to the heart of our emotions and senses.
This mission responds to the needs of cultural institutions to transform them into places conducive to relaxation and well-being, while addressing the societal responsibilities incumbent upon them today.
In a cross-exchange between cultural establishments that have already adopted the Mindful Art® approach - the Camille Claudel Museum, the Trem.a Museum in Namur, the PBA in Lille - and the method's creator, Marjan Abadie, we look at the benefits of sensitive and emotional mediation to understand the stakes and stages in developing a proposal for well-being, and how this innovative proposal, rooted in science, offers the opportunity to best welcome the widest possible audience.
Speakers:
- Marjan Abadie, psychotherapist and creator of the Mindful Art® method
- Marie Vidal de la Blache, Public Development Officer, Mediation/Accessibility/Art-health/Integration, Palais des Beaux-Arts, Lille
