A new offer of assistance to the visit

Thursday 30 June 2022 | 10:30
Workshop room E-HÉ WORKSHOP with the MUSÉE DU LOUVE   A new offer to assist visitors   Always committed to enhancing the experience of its visitors, the Louvre has teamed up with the Toulouse-based company E-hé to test an innovative design-for-all seat: the Flâneuses. To meet the needs of as many people as possible, the Flâneuses can be used to carry children, put down belongings, move around safely, or sit down to contemplate a work of art. For the first time in its history, the Musée du Louvre decided to offer this furniture on a self-service basis, to allow maximum adaptation to visitors' needs. Visitors were able to discover this tool directly in the museum during their visit, during a five-month large-scale test co-financed by the Ile de France pension insurance scheme. How did the teams mobilize for its success? How did the visitors seize this new proposal? what benefits were observed for the public and for the museum? A start-up company and a major museum meet with the same objective: to enable as many people as possible to visit the Louvre.     Speakers:
  • Thérèse Donnet - Co-founder of E-hé)
  • Marie Jamard - Mission manager for the follow-up of the Flâneuse Project at the Louvre - department of the Direction de l'accueil des publics et de la surveillance
  • Nabahats Nina Kerroum - Head of coordination and projects at the Louvre Museum - Direction of the reception of the public and the surveillance
