Born from spontaneous dynamics or driven by public policies, cultural and creative districts are characterized by the concentration of cultural facilities, creative spaces, artistic actors and events. By generating strong local dynamics and a creative ecosystem conducive to innovation, they promote cultural diffusion and economic development. However, this notion today covers very diverse realities depending on the context.
How do these neighborhoods transform territories? How can we combine the logics of attractiveness and inclusion, and how can we integrate the diversity of cultural approaches? How can we design these spaces so that they are sustainable over time?
