New mediations resulting from so-called “immersive” technologies engage visitors’ senses to a degree previously unknown. Video, sound, olfactory propositions, tactile galleries: how do sensory mediations play on the register of the sensitive in order to arouse emotions and new experiences, particularly for new audiences? Cédric Lesec is Director of External Relations and Dissemination at the Musée des Confluences in Lyon.
