AKKEN

Stand : B1
Activity area: Audioguides - videoguides, Audiovisual-multimedia, interactivity/immersive devices, Cultural mediation, Sound design

Akken designs and produces immersive sound experiences for local areas, heritage sites and museums.

Geolocated sound walks and native podcasts are our favourite genres.

From the script, to the writing and production of the sound content, Akken also produces its own connected objects to free visitors from their smartphones and allow them to anchor themselves in their visit experience.

Why using sound?

Because sound allows us to reveal the invisible side of territories.

What we’re putting into visitors’ ears is an interweaving of elements: testimonies from locals and/or key people linked to the places, comedians, narrative voices, original music compositions, and sound and noise creations.

Sound is that Proust’s madeleine that brings mental images to life, it’s that all-encompassing universe that helps you immerse yourself, and let go, it’s that long time that’s favourable to discoveries.
