A few weeks after Bourges was chosen as the European Capital of Culture 2028, the Minister of Culture announced that she would make rural areas the priority of her action. How do cultural projects contribute to the dissemination of culture and the economic and tourist development of territories? Around this question, this round table brings together several major players who will share their commitments and visions.

A graduate of the School of Urban Affairs at Sciences-Po Paris, Marine has worked for over 10 years alongside private and public stakeholders on the subjects of urban, tourism and cultural development. She began her career as coordinator of an international think tank, before joining the sector of consulting for local authorities and territorial stakeholders at Voltere by Egis in 2018, where she worked in particular on the issues of promoting heritage sites (Château de Lunéville, Lafayette, Haras du Pin, Commanderie de Coulommiers, participation in the Réinventons le Patrimoine expertises).
Now a manager at Beaux Arts Consulting, she supports the creation of cultural venues, from defining the concept to their operational implementation, through an approach focused on the needs of the territories.

Pascal Keiser is a Belgian commissioner and curator born in 1967. He was commissioner of the Belgian pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo in 2010 (PR China – 5 million visitors), artistic director of the Mons 2015 candidacy for European Capital of Culture (Belgium), commissioner and designer of the Micro Folies de La Villette digital museum with 10 French national museums, deployed in France and around the world (300 units to date), and has been general commissioner of Bourges 2028 European Capital of Culture since December 2021.

Vincent Poussou has developed extensive expertise in public policies within leading multidisciplinary cultural institutions: he has been successively Director of Publics and Communication at the Parc de la Villette, Director of Publics at the Centre Pompidou, and Director of Publics and Digital at the RMN-Grand Palais. His career, which focuses on access to culture for all, is now focused on giving new impetus to the territorial and educational policies of the Grand Palais, with a view to its reopening in June 2025. He is also President of Grand Palais Immersif, a digital innovation subsidiary of RMN-Grand Palais.

After starting her career in local authorities, Anne Dubile is fully involved in the implementation and management of strategic projects in national museums, notably at the Louvre Museum, which she joined in 2011 (Louvre Lens, Louvre Abu Dhabi), and more broadly at the Ministry of Culture, which she joined in 2015. With a forward-looking vision of the use of digital technology in the promotion of museums and monuments, Anne Dubile has thus developed expertise in the implementation of virtual tours, immersive experiences, the use of NFTs, metaverses, etc.

A trained musician, Christophe Bennet first worked as a trumpet teacher and then director of a conservatory, before moving into the management of public cultural policies. Recruited in 2016 in Cergy to structure an Artistic and Cultural Education center, he was then appointed Director of Culture and Heritage in 2017. He has been President of the National Federation of Associations of Directors of Cultural Affairs of Local Authorities (FNADAC) since November 2020.
