My lighting-actions are dependant on both Engineery and Design.
In all projects, there is a part of engineery which fixes or guides on some values, connected with a visual performance or visual comfort. This part of engineery can go farther for museums - with both natural and artificial lighting projects - with presentation and heritage preservation aspects.
But others components are of consequence, and why not sometimes essential, such an architectural writing which I must understand and in which my lighting-project will must be inscripted, such an interior architectural design which will interest my esthetic choice of lighting-fixtures.
In reality Engineery and Design become integrated in a more global concept of lighting-environment, confronting through visual shemes different lighting-vectors which will compose it finally and which are :
luminance, illuminance, temperature of color light and rendering of colors, hight of lights, graphisms of installation, photometry and materialisation.
These are, first, necessary for an equilibrate elaboration, accounting for monumental / architectural, functionnal / ergonomic and human / ambiance dimensions.
These are, after and at last, specific and only as to their inter-valuation for each project, so generating innovation.
